Refund Policy
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective July 2026
Alethos is committed to communicating its fees, payment obligations, cancellation terms, and refund practices clearly before services begin. This policy applies to purchases made directly through the Alethos website. Services purchased under a separate coaching, program, group, retreat, or event agreement are also governed by the terms of that agreement. If a signed agreement contains different terms, the signed agreement will control.
Introductory Conversations
Complimentary introductory or fit conversations do not require payment and therefore are not eligible for a refund.
Individual Sessions
-
Payment may be required when an individual session is scheduled.
-
A session may be rescheduled or canceled without charge when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or circumstances outside the client’s reasonable control.
Coaching Programs: Alethos programs involve reserved session time, advance preparation, onboarding, assessments or inventories, personalized materials, and access to proprietary program resources. Unless a different policy is stated in the applicable enrollment agreement:
-
A client may cancel enrollment and request a full refund within three calendar days of payment, provided the program has not begun and individualized services or materials have not been delivered.
-
After onboarding, assessment review, personalized preparation, delivery of proprietary materials, or the first program session has begun, payments already made are generally nonrefundable.
-
Ending participation early does not automatically eliminate payment obligations associated with a fixed-term program.
-
Any payment plan is a method of paying the total program fee and should not be interpreted as a week-to-week subscription unless expressly described that way in writing.
-
The applicable coaching or program agreement will identify any additional withdrawal, termination, or payment provisions before enrollment is completed.
Digital Materials and Recordings
Digital workbooks, assessments, guided recordings, educational materials, and other downloadable or electronically delivered resources are generally nonrefundable once they have been accessed, downloaded, delivered, or made available, except where required by law.
Programs, Groups, Retreats, and Events
Cancellation and refund terms for groups, cohorts, workshops, retreats, and live events may vary because Alethos may incur advance venue, travel, production, staffing, or third-party expenses. The specific policy displayed during registration or included in the participant agreement will apply. Unless otherwise stated, registrations may be transferred to another eligible participant with prior written approval from Alethos.
Cancellation by Alethos
If Alethos cancels a paid session or service and cannot provide a reasonable rescheduling option, the client may receive either:
-
A credit toward a future service; or
-
A refund of the amount paid for the canceled and undelivered service.
Alethos is not responsible for incidental expenses, travel costs, lost income, or other indirect losses resulting from a cancellation, except where required by law.
No Guarantee of Results
Alethos does not guarantee a particular personal, professional, relational, financial, psychological, or behavioral outcome. Results depend on numerous factors, including the client’s participation, decisions, circumstances, readiness, and application of the work. Dissatisfaction with an outcome, by itself, does not establish eligibility for a refund.
Requesting a Cancellation or Refund
Requests must be submitted in writing to support@alethosproject.com
Please include:
-
Your full name;
-
The service or program purchased;
-
The purchase date;
-
The reason for the request; and
-
Any relevant scheduling or payment information.
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary based on the payment provider or financial institution.
Discretion and Applicable Law
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Alethos may consider reasonable exceptions at its discretion, but doing so in one situation does not require the same exception in another.
Alethos reserves the right to update this policy. The version in effect when a purchase is completed will ordinarily apply to that purchase.
